WHO WE ARE

We are a group of people from diverse academic and professional backgrounds with a common interest in advancing critical thinking and collective action.

WHAT WE DO

We identify and develop projects through active community participation. Instead of telling people what to do from above as “experts”, we collaborate on a variety of action research and citizen science projects with local institutions, schools, universities, science clubs and community organizations. Our projects co-create tools to equip the communities to act against social and environmental injustice and achieve sustainable development goals.

WHAT WE WANT

We want to develop a critical awareness of nature and society through dialogue, interaction, and analysis. We believe that critical awareness in everyday life is needed to inform our collective actions. This collective action is essential to move towards a just and equitable society.
